    王文治（1730-1802），字禹卿，号梦楼，江苏丹徒人。乾隆二十五年（1760）探花，官翰林侍读、云南姚安府知府。
    此轴结体严谨，用笔瘦劲，章法疏朗整齐，用中锋运笔，笔墨精练，骨格清纤，具恬静秀逸之风韵。左侧有清书画家周锷跋语两行，款署“梦楼王文治”。钤白文印二方。国家二级文物。（陈娟）

  Wang Wenzhi (1730-1802) was a native of Dantu (Zhenjiang of today),Jiangsu.
  Having the charm of quietness and elegancy,the characters in the scroll are formed rigorously and distributed sparsely and neatly,whose strokes are thin but mighty.
