    沈士凤，生卒年月不详，字羽皇。浙江绍兴人。清书法家。靠卖书画糊口，年九十余卒。他的书法深入传统而不泥古，善于用个性加以再创造，更不甘心步人后尘，故其草书为越中第一。
    此作写于丙申（1776）三月，用笔硬、小而锋长，线条粗细均匀，刚劲有力，富有弹性，结体婀娜清丽，既无字距，行距也不明显，字的大小悬殊，左右游荡，互相穿插，在振动笔疾书中因势利导地变化了字形与布局，整体上达到了出神入化的妙境。国家二级文物。（刘侃）

  Shen Shifeng was a calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty,a native of Shaoxing,Zhejiang.
  The lines of the work are evenly thick.The characters are formed graceful,delicate and pretty,which are of great disparity in size,inserted with each other,overall reaching the acme of perfection.
