    王思任（1574-1646），字季重，号遂东，浙江绍兴人。万历二十三年（1595）进士，官至礼部右侍郎。工书画。
    此手札合锦，或如晋唐小楷，工稳而不板滞，或如"二王"行书，潇洒而劲健。因是手札，圈圈点点、涂涂改改，在所难免；因是手札，更见轻松自如，正所谓无意于佳乃佳。国家一级文物。（喻革良）

  Wang Siren (1574-1646) was from Shaoxing,Zhejiang,skillful in calligraphy and painting.
  This personal letter scroll is either like the regular script in small characters of the Jin and Tang Dynasties,neat and stable but not stiff,or like the running script of the two Wangs(Wang Xizhi and his son Wang Xianzhi,they both were famous calligraphers),natural,unrestrained and vigorous.
