    倪元璐(1593-1644)，字汝玉，号鸿宝，浙江上虞人。天启二年(1622)进士，历官至户、礼部尚书。
    此作行距宽、字距紧，用笔迅捷、节奏明快短促，精神内含。一波三折，奇态百出，在明代书家中独树一帜。明代书家无人不能行草，倪元璐书法灵秀神妙，行草尤极超逸。国家一级文物。（喻革良）

Ni Yuanlu’s Qilü-poem Scroll in the Cursive Style of Script

Ni Yuanlu (1593-1644) was from Shangyu,Zhejiang.
  This Scroll of Qilü (an eight-line poem with seven characters to a line) is wide in line width but tight in character space.The writing is lively and quick in rhythm,the spirit being contained;it is full of twists and turns,showing all sorts of grotesque shapes.He had his own style among the calligraphers in the Ming Dynasty.
