    像结跏趺坐。顶螺髻，薄唇隆准，两耳耷肩，颜容慈蔼。作禅定印。着通身垂式袈裟，衣纹轻柔。背有铭文，正书阴刻：“齐永明六年（488）太岁戊辰于吴郡敬造维卫尊佛”18字，刻字甚工。维卫佛为小乘佛教供奉的七佛之首。国家二级文物。（傅宝香）

  Cross-legged,the statue sits in meditation,one hand on the other wearing a kasaya on the whole body.There are 18characters engraved on the back.The characters were incised delicately.Buddha Vipasyin is the No.1 of the seven Buddha consecrated by the Hinayana Buddhism.
